foundational reading skills. This interactive book features
pictures of familiar objects whose names contain the I See

consonant team sh. Simple sentences, decodable words,
and engaging questions support young readers as they
sharpen fluency and phonics skills. ANDERSON

Learning Activities:
• Read each page, naming the pictures in response to SH SH
the questions.
• Make a list of the pictured words that contain the
featured letters.
• Name other words that contain the letters and add
them to the list.

• Create simple sentences using some of the words.
• Draw or cut out pictures of items containing the
featured letters and label each with the word
underneath. This can be made into a poster or
mini-book to share with a partner.
