MAGGIE DONAVAN

RHODA ABBOTT
are on the

deck
.
MAGGIE:
This ship is so fancy!
RHODA:
If you think third class is fancy, you should see
first class. Those people live like kings and queens.
MAGGIE:
Let’s go to the first-class deck!
RHODA:
We’re not allowed. First-class passengers paid
a lot of money.
MAGGIE
: It took my parents many years to pay for our
tickets. We’re going to start a new life in America.
