Start with a sheet folded in half both ways and
along the diagonals.

Fold all the
corners in to
make a smaller
square. Rotate
the square 45
degrees so that
the open end is
at the bottom.
Fold the top right
side in to the vertical
center line.
Repeat steps 2 and
3 on the other three
parts.
Open out the fold
to make an inverted
kite shape.
