Cut a piece of cardboard into a strip
for a patio fence. Cut another piece
into a patio gate.

Glue one edge of the gate to the
side of the cottage and onto the patio’s
edge. Glue the fence around the rest
of the patio’s edges.

Paint the cottage and patio to look
as though they are built of stone, brick,
or wood. Add windows, doors,
and other house details.

Cut the toilet paper tube into
thirds. Paint one third and glue it
to the cottage roof as a chimney.
