Start filling the shapewith
tiny paint dots. Try tomake
each dot the same size.
For lighter places, place
the dots further apart.
Put the dots closer
together in the
darker areas.

Leave your
painting to dry, then
rub out the pencil lines.
Don't rush
your dots,
or they'll
lookmessy. The
neater they are,
the better the effect.

Sketch a pattern, then go over
it with dots. Start at the far side of the paper
so you don't smudge the paint as youwork.
