Each year, great
white sharks gather to feast on seals
near San Francisco. In 1997, a killer
whale rammed into one of the sharks. The
shark flipped onto its back. The killer
whale bit the shark and held it down. The
shark could not breathe. It died. Then
the killer whale ate the shark. After the
attack, all the great whites fled the area.
They did not return until the next year!
