Caslavska earned two 10s at the
1967 European Championships.
Comaneci wasn’t the only
gymnast with a perfect score at
the 1976 Olympics, either. Soviet
gymnast Nellie Kim scored two
10s there.

moved to Montreal. In 1990, she
met American gymnast Bart Conner
again. They had met before at
gymnastics events. Comaneci helped
Conner open a gymnastics school
in Oklahoma. They married in 1996.
Comaneci became an American
citizen in 2001.
Conner and Comaneci
own businesses that help
gymnasts. They work with
several charities, too.
Comaneci continues to
promote the sport she
loves.
