When I get back home after being away,

circles the globe, but she’s picking up the most exciting facts along the way.

Before starting her writing career, danielle chaperon taught charming (and
talkative!) eight- and nine-year-old students. She began writing children’s fiction in 2007,
inspired by her students’ daily lives, experiences and dreams. Danielle lives in Montreal,
Quebec.

josée bisaillon has illustrated more than twenty-five children’s books, created
numerous editorial illustrations for magazines and newspapers and been short-listed twice
for the Governor General’s Literary Award. She lives outside Montreal, Quebec, with her
