The British army is back! Not so long ago, they lost the

Revolutionary War, and an independent United States was founded.
Now the two countries are at war again. And this time the British are
determined to win. Their warships have landed at the Chesapeake
Bay, and their troops are on the move. Leading the way is Admiral
George Cockburn (KOH-burn), mounted high on his white horse.
He is so hated by the Americans that there is a reward of $1,000 for
his head—or $500 for each ear. But Cockburn is a hero to his men.
And so they march. Every day without breaks. Roasting in their red
woolen uniforms.
Their destination: Washington.
Their goal: Destroy it.
