The Author
Catherine Chambers was born in Adelaide, South Australia, and brought
up in England. She earned a degree in African History and Swahili
at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London. Catherine has
written about 130 titles for children and young adults, mainly non-
fiction, and she enjoys seeking out intriguing facts for her non-fiction
titles.
The Illustrator
Ryan Pentney lives and works in Norwich, UK. Growing up in the 1990s,
he was surrounded by iconic cartoons, comics, and books that have
remained a passion with him. Inspired by these childhood heroes as
well as more modern works, Ryan creates his own characters and
stories in the hope of inspiring the next generation. He uses the latest
technology and traditional techniques to make stylized digital artworks.
