Curses at Work
Cheating, trespassing, boasting, or just acting unkind
could bring on a curse, according to many old tales.
Sometimes the curse fits the crime. Perhaps someone
who lied would lose the ability to speak. Or a murderer
would die an early death.
A curse for trespassing might
cause a person to be locked up or
frozen and unable to move freely.
