About the Author
Tamra Orr recalls watching the news reports about Hurricane Katrina and staying
in close touch with a friend who lived in the area. She is the author of hundreds of
books for readers of all ages. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her family and
spends all of her free time writing letters, reading books, and going camping. She
graduated from Ball State University with a degree in English and education, and
believes she has the best job in the world. It gives her the chance to keep learning
all about the world and the people in it.
