3. Find Orion
Orion is one of the most famous
star constellations. It can be
seen in the night sky from
anywhere in the world.

Look for Orion’s belt.
Orion the
Hunter’s belt is made of three
bright stars close together
in a line.

Find his shoulders and knees.
Above and below Orion’s belt
(but further apart), look for four
more bright stars.

Look for Orion’s sword.
Between
Orion’s belt and knees are three
more stars, close together. In
the middle is the Orion Nebula, a
place where stars are born.

Find the rest of Orion.
Now you have the
basic shape, you can
pick out the rest of the
stars that make Orion
and his bow.
