Each object should be at
least the size of your fist
or as long as your finger.
Can include toys, foods,
household objects, and
clothing.
Make sure none of the
objects are breakable or
have sharp edges.

Receptors in our skin help us sense an object’s shape, texture, and size. A person
can often identify something just by touching it with their hands. This is harder using
feet for two reasons. First, our hands are more flexible and have longer digits than
our feet, which makes touching and holding objects easier. Second, our hands have
10 been trained from a young age to do these tasks.
