Shadowy Figures
Ghosts often take the form of “white ladies” or “gray
ladies,” like Anne Boleyn in the Tower of London.
They are dressed in clothes from the past and walk
toward something, ignoring anyone who is watching
them. These ghosts do not have a solid physical
form. A white lady is almost a person, but not quite.
