center: a player who usually stays close to the basket and the middle

clutch: having the ability to perform in high-pressure situations

forward: a player who usually plays offense and tries to make shots

jump shot: a shot in which a player jumps with both feet to release
the ball at the top of the jump

overtime: an extra five-minute period played when teams are tied at

the end of regulation time
