Every October lighthouse lovers gather
in Alpena, Michigan, for the Great Lakes
Lighthouse Festival. Four days of events—
tours, cruises, exhibits—bring lighthouse
fans from all over the country to enjoy
themselves, learn about lighthouses, and
help preserve these historic buildings.
