ornadoes happen in many places around the
world, including parts of Africa, Europe, Asia, and
South America. However, most tornadoes occur in
North America.
Tornadoes have been reported in all 50 states. They
are also common in Canada. But most often, tornadoes
form in the Central Plains region of the United States.
This region includes an area commonly known as
