n ¢, scientists found an exoplanet orbiting a
star called Proxima Centauri. Proxima Centauri
is the closest star to our sun. It is still so far away

However, there is often much more space between
stars. So, two unrelated stars being just a few
light-years apart is a relatively short distance.
