AR BEARS
Polar bears have thick fur. The fur
looks white. It helps polar bears blend in
with the snow and ice. The only parts of a
polar bear’s body that do not have fur are its
black nose and footpads.
Polar bear skin is black to
help soak up the sun’s heat.
