hawn Peter Raul Mendes was born on
SAugust 8, 1998, in Toronto, Ontario.
He and his younger sister Aaliyah grew up
in the nearby city of Pickering.
As a kid, Shawn enjoyed sports and
playing outside. He first got involved in
music at Pine Ridge Secondary School.
Shawn plays a concert in Toronto, Ontario, in
October 2015.
