            appetite for worms, water
            fleas, and insect larvae.












                                                                                  YES, MOM!





               Bladderworts have special bladders that open like trap doors.
                         Once prey gets inside, the doors slam shut.


                                                 The sundew produces a sticky nectar
                                                 on its leaves. Insects come by for a
                                                 treat, get stuck, and are digested.



                                                      The pitcher plant feasts on insects,
                                                      frogs, lizards, birds, and even rats!

             Curious critters fall into the
             pitcher plant and can’t climb                             AWESOME!
