Thinking a ghost is in the house can

be scary. But some people believe that

ghosts are not evil. They think ghosts just

have something to say. The ghosts may

want people to know what happened to

them. Ghosts could want help getting to the

afterlife. People say that is why ghosts make

themselves known. It would be easy for

ghosts to stay silent. Nobody can see them.

But people report all sorts of ways ghosts

make themselves heard.
