right away,” says engineer Xiaoyun Yang. She points out that the
software industry evolves rapidly and requires one to constantly
learn new tools and concepts. “Software engineers need to be
resourceful and know when to leverage an existing technology
. . . and when it’s necessary to create something new.” 12
