One issue of modern feminism is the lack of paid maternity leave in the United
States. Many mothers struggle with deciding how much time they can afford to
take off from work when they have a baby.

women’s roles in the family and society remain difficult, and oppression
                     remains an issue.

According to the US Department of Labor, nearly one in four new
mothers goes back to work just two weeks after having a new baby.
