One night, she says, a male student got drunk and sexually as-
saulted her. She reported what happened to her professor, who
brushed her off. He told her, “Don’t act like you didn’t know what
you were doing.” Shocked, Young replied, “It sounds like you’re
saying I got what I asked for when this person tried to rape me.”
The professor did not deny her implication; instead, he merely
said, “Boys will be boys.” Even though that incident occurred

more than twenty years ago, Milano’s tweet reminded Young of
what happened, and she decided to speak up and say, “me too.”
