Often friends like some of the same things.

Find out what a new pal likes. Ask them what

they do for fun.

Some people have a hard time making

friends. Maybe you can help! Some schools

in Canada have a Friendship Bench, or

Buddy Bench. Children sit there if they

need someone to talk to or play with.

Other children who see a child on a buddy

bench can ask them to come and play. It’s a

great way to make new friends.

You can also make friends by being fair to

others. Share your toys and your stories. Play

and have fun together! Be kind to others.
