math and science classes are mostly
filled with men. A lot of that has
to do with gender
stereotypes

People sometimes think that men
are better at math and science.
Women are thought to be better at
reading and writing. This is not true.
But it sometimes causes people to
discourage women from studying
math and science subjects. Groups
such as hEr VOLUTION aim to help
get more women involved in the
science, technology, engineering, and
math fields.
