KATHARINA VON DER GATHEN

is a writer and sexuality educator. With Anke Kuhl, she published the book Tell Me!,
which answers children’s questions about sexuality, pregnancy and childbirth. The
many questions children asked in her workshops about the sex lives of animals
inspired her to write this book.

is one of Germany’s leading illustrators. She has illustrated more than 70 children’s
picture books and non-fiction books and has received a number of awards, including
the German Youth Literature Prize.
