Long, long ago, there was no written language in China.
So people drew. They drew the sun and the moon. They
drew mountains and oceans. They drew men and
women. Slowly and gradually, the drawings
became the Chinese written language.
People used brush pens to write, and
they called it Chinese calligraphy.
