Even though no one can guarantee 100 percent safety for
space travelers, rules and regulations are still important. Space
tourism involves the entire planet, and nations need to work
together to make the industry run smoothly. The aviation branch
of the United Nations (UN), an international peacekeeping and
humanitarian organization, wants space tourism regulations in
place by 2019. The UN wants to make sure that businesses use the
space around Earth wisely and as safely as possible.
