3. Find Orion                                    Orion is one of the most famous
                                                         star constellations. It can be
                                                         seen in the night sky from
                                                         anywhere in the world.

              Look for Orion’s belt. Orion the
        1 Hunter’s belt is made of three
            bright stars close together
            in a line.                       Mintaka

              Find his shoulders and knees.   Alnilam
        2 Above and below Orion’s belt
            (but further apart), look for four   Alnitak
            more bright stars.
              Look for Orion’s sword. Between
        3 Orion’s belt and knees are three
            more stars, close together. In
            the middle is the Orion Nebula, a
            place where stars are born.

              Find the rest of Orion.
        4 Now you have the
            basic shape, you can
            pick out the rest of the
            stars that make Orion
            and his bow.
