About the Author
Martin Gitlin is a freelance author based in Cleveland. He has had more
than 110 books published. He won more than 45 writing awards during
his 11 years as a newspaper journalist, including first place for general
excellence from Associated Press. That organization selected him as one
of the top four feature writers in Ohio in 2001.
