HALL PASS
Taylor Hall made quick work
of the NewYork Islanders on
October 17, 2013. He scored
twice in eight seconds!
The bad news? They were
Edmonton’s only goals of the
game in a 3–2 loss.
MIGHTY MAC
Forward Craig MacTavish was a
role player for the Oilers during the
1980s. He made a name for himself
later in his career. MacTavish was
the last player in the NHL to play
without a helmet.
GREAT TRIBUTES
Wayne Gretzky hung up his skates in 1999. The NHL retired his
No. 99 league wide. The Hockey Hall of Fame also waived its
three-year waiting period. Gretzky was inducted into the Hall of
Fame in June 1999. That was just a couple of months after his
final game.
