medications. Computers with AI study people’s
cells. With that knowledge, they create medicine
to treat diseases. One example is an AI program
called AtomNet. It can find new medicines
100 times faster than a pharmaceutical company
can. Because of its quick work, these medicines
can be brought to market faster. Patients can be
treated with these new medicines sooner.
AI also helps people take care of their own
health. Wearable devices and apps check heart
rate, blood pressure, and sleep patterns. Based
