olence infl icted against black citizens by police. The group
also raises campaign funds for candidates dedicated to end-
ing police violence against African Americans. The website

The New York City–based organization conducts programs
to encourage black teens to fi nish school and begin pro-
ductive careers. One program encourages successful black
men to become mentors to urban teens. By accessing the

men are in mentoring teens.
