Sometimes parents divorce. Kids with
divorced parents might have two homes
and take turns staying with each
parent.
No two families are alike. The only thing
a family needs is love for one another.
Some people have parents of the same
gender. If kids have two dads, they may
call one dad and the other papa. This
makes it clear which parent they are
referring to.
Families grow and change. There may
be an addition of a sibling. Or maybe
an older relative moves in. Changes can
be hard, but look for what makes your
family special.
Many people are adopted. Their
biological parents may not have been
able to take care of them. Adopted
children are loved by their biological
and adoptive families.
