What gear do i need?
A POLE-SUPPORTED
tent is held up by ropes tied to trees or poles stuck in the
ground. Once you set it up it’s rooted to that spot. If you want to move it you
have to completely take it down and start from scratch in the new location.
A SELF-SUPPORTING
tent is held up by a framework of poles that attach to
loops on the tent and that are held together by elastic “shock cords.” You can
set up this tent in one spot, and then pick it up and move it to another spot.
