“Some people say they are disorganized and too quick

                   to  use violence. Other  people  say they are  brave  and
                   visionary. Maybe all of that is true,” Miss Ashman said.

                       Patsy  chewed her thumbnail, thinking. “What about

                   that  massacre  the  article  mentioned?  What  happened

                   there?”
                       “I  know many  Lakota died, but honestly, I don’t

                   remember many of the details,” Miss Ashman said. “I am

                   curious to learn, though. It seems like you are too. I’ll give

                   you extra credit if you write a report about it. Then we can
                   both find out more. You can turn it in next week. Deal?”

                       Patsy nodded. She wanted some answers. She might as

                   well get extra credit for finding them.

                       “You can go on to art now.” Miss Ashman waved her
                   hand toward the door.

                       Patsy  had  one  final  question,  though—the  most

                   important one, in her mind. “Miss Ashman, who do you

                   think is right, the protesters or the government?”
                       “I don’t know enough about it yet to have an opinion,

                   but I wouldn’t tell you even if I did. It’s not my job to tell
