But on October 3, 2000, during a playoff game, St. Louis
Cardinals pitcher Rick Ankiel threw five in one inning!
2. 2. In 2019, the Washington Nationals defeated the Houston Astros
to win the team’s first World Series. It is the only World
Series in history in which neither team won a home game.
3. 3. On July 27, 2017 while pitching for the Milwaukee Bucks,
Michael “Jus’ Blaze” Blazek lost focus and gave up five home
runs in one inning. That’s an MLB record!

Aroldis “Cuban Missile” Chapman with a pitch that travelled
105 mph (169 kmh) on September 24, 2010.
5. 5. In 1993, New York Yankees pitcher Jim Abbott threw a
no-hitter against the Cleveland Indians. Tossing a no-hitter
isn’t that unusual. But Abbott was born without a right hand!
