vember 2018. Wages for jobs that involve tipping by customers,
such as restaurant wait staff, are exceptions to this minimum.
Pay for these jobs can be as low as $2.13 an hour, since it is
expected that tips will bring the total to the minimum wage. In
many cases generous tips can push this pay above the mini-
mum wage.
After working for a week or two, you will experience an impor-
