1 Stack 6 of the craft sticks neatly on top of
one another. Secure these sticks together
by wrapping rubber bands around both
ends of the stack.
2 Attach another stick perpendicular to the
stack, around the middle, so you get a cross
shape. This will be your launching stick.
You can do this with 1 or 2 rubber bands
that are crossed in an X over the sticks.

3 Next, add the base by lining up the last
stick below the launching stick with the
stack in between them. Attach an end of
the base to an end of the launching stick
with a rubber band.
4 Set your catapult on its base. Glue the
flat side of the bottle cap to the raised
end of the launching stick. This will be
your catapult’s launching cup. Allow the
glue to dry.
5 Place a cotton ball in the launching cup.
3 To launch it, use your finger to push the
cup down. Let go to send the cotton
ball flying!
