5 Secure the foil by taping the edges to
the flap.
6 Lift the flap, then cover the opening with
a layer of plastic wrap.
7 Use black electrical tape to hold the
plastic wrap in place. Make sure no holes
are in the plastic wrap and that all of its
edges are taped down.

8 Line the inside of the box with aluminum
foil so that when you shut the box, the
entire interior is coated with foil. Tape
the foil in place.
9 Glue the black paper to the center of the
inside bottom of the box. This will act as
your solar oven’s heat sink.
