                   THE DRAWBACKS
                   Even though many teens understand the negative
                   consequences related to smartphone use, they also
                   experience the advantages of having a smartphone.
                   The social media they access through their smartphones
                   pulls at them in both positive and negative ways. In the
                   2018 Common Sense Media survey, 25 percent of the
                   respondents said using social media makes them feel less
                   lonely. Yet a few of the respondents said using social media
