changing civil rights issues in your country and around
the world. Set up Internet alerts for breaking news about
civil rights, or follow activists on social media. Make
sure to gather information from many sources and check
reliable websites, such as civil rights organizations.
5 events are great ways to gain publicity, and the more

Civil rights activists often organize marches and other
mass events to highlight a particular cause. Watch for
events near you, and go along if you can. Large-scale
people that attend, the greater the exposure.
