Doesn’t the lizard look like a dinosaur?”
“It does,” Isabel said as the three stepped from the
camper. “Sounds like you two have been to some awesome
places.”
The two kids told Isabel about their adventures in
Denali and Canyonlands as they walked back to the
bridge where Dad and Shoop were waiting.
“Where are the Kolsons?” Toni asked.
“They went on across to look at Grand Prismatic,” Dad
said. “We’ll go there as soon as we get the opening shot
filmed.”
“Did you have a chance to look at the footage?” Buck
asked.
“Yes,” Shoop answered. “We could see the big bull
get irritated, but other than that, we didn’t see anything
unusual. Here, you guys take a look.”
Isabel, Buck, and Toni watched the screen on the back
of the camera. There were shots of steam coming up on
the river, and then it panned over to the bison grazing far
upstream. The bison didn’t seem concerned about anything
as they lazily lumbered along, pulling at tufts of grass.
